Note: Our team of specialists are available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call ahead and make an appointment with us before visiting our facility.

Yes we are part of the Brant Arts IDA family! Brant Arts has enhanced their well established Home Health Centre by expanding their product offerings to include even more mobility aids such as custom wheelchairs, power devices, lift chairs, hospital beds and more. The Brant Arts Home Health Care team and Mobility team work closely together to assist our customers!

For over 50 years, Brant Arts has been one of the largest providers of medical supplies in the Burlington and surrounding area. Our mobility division allows us to serve wider needs in a larger geographic area.

 

We offer a personalized approach to equipment selection which includes one-on-one support from our specialists. You can come to us, or we can come to you!

Because we meet with our customers outside of the office, our staff can often be out on the road. It is important to book an appointment so we can make certain we will be available to assist you when you need us!

Yes! For your convenience, we offer free delivery of our mobility products to all of Burlington, Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Haldimand and surrounding areas. See our service area map in the next question below.

There are some funding programs available and our team will navigate all funding options for your purchase.

  • We are an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorized Vendor – We work closely with your ADP Authorized Therapist if you are eligible for funding
  • WSIB Preferred Provider
  • Assistance with Third Party Billing & Private Insurance

If you have a long-term physical disability, you can get help paying for equipment and supplies when you qualify for the Assistive Devices Program. 

The Assistive Devices Program (ADP), can help cover the costs of:

  • manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and power scooters
  • power add-ons (devices added to a manual wheelchair if you don’t need a power wheelchair)
  • positioning devices (e.g. cushions, back and head supports, power tilt and recline)
  • forearm-crutches
  • wheeled walkers for adults

In order to access the ADP Funding Program, you will need to get examined by an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist registered with the ADP. This will confirm that you need a mobility aid and determine which type best suits your needs.

Brant Arts is an ADP Authorized Vendor.

We offer trials on most equipment so you can be sure of your purchase. If you’d like to take one of our wheelchairs, scooters, or power chairs for a spin, you can do that (with an appointment). Just ask, and we will let you know if the product you are interested in is available for a trial.

Our specialists can bring the equipment to your home or you can visit our showroom. Please call ahead and make an appointment so we can ensure the device you would like to trial is in stock.

Renting assistive devices or daily living aids can be done through Brant Arts Home Health Care Centre. Our experienced Home Health Care team can assist with rentals of: 

  • Aluminum walkers (folding and non-folding)
  • Canes
  • Commode Chairs
  • Crutches
  • Electric Breast Pumps
  • Wheelchairs & Transport chairs

Yes, we have an expert Service Technician on our team who is available to assist with repairs, tune ups and maintenance of mobility devices. We service anything that we sell, and can even assist with devices that were not purchased through us!

Please book an appointment with our Service Technician if you require service on your device. 

The health & safety of our customers and team is of top priority to us. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, our team is practicing proper hand hygiene and wearing our masks. We have implemented extra cleaning measures on all equipment that goes out of our doors.

Our in-store consultations are by appointment only so we can limit the number of customers in our facility at one time.

We encourage our delivery service for all customers. Additionally, we offer contactless payment with our deliveries.
